The Target Editor

Translation takes place in the Target Editor. As you type in the text, it is analyzed according to the sentence detection rules, thereby controlling the sentence marking in the Source View, and this marking moves along in accordance with the input in the Target Editor. The spell-check is performed automatically while you translate in the Target Editor. In addition, you can implement a number of quality management criteria for controlling the quality of your translation.

A drop-down list with all the corresponding formatting for the active section in the Source View is connected to the Target Editor toolbar. As a result, this virtually excludes any possibility of incorrect formatting.

If you do not want the content of a paragraph of the source text to appear in the target text, simply leave the respective target paragraph blank. In this way, the paragraph will remain empty even after the target document is checked out.
