System Settings: DST > Tagged HTML

By creating a template for HTML documents, you can determine how elements and attributes are used to generate and display paragraphs in crossDesk. Moreover, use of templates is recommended especially in order to ensure user-friendly translation of HTML documents and to exploit the full potential of the translation of HTML documents in Across.

By default, the HTML templates are filled with all common HTML elements and attributes.

By default, Across contains the Tagged HTML default template QuarkXPress Tagged Text for translating QuarkXPress files in TAG or XTG format with crossTransform.

To prevent the template from being damaged or functionally impaired by faulty customization, it is write-protected and cannot be customized. If you still want to edit the template, you can first export it and then re-import it using the respective buttons. This re-imported template is no longer write-protected and can be edited.
