Stemming
Stemming is a procedure by means of which morphological forms of terms are reduced to their respective basic form. For example, stemming enables the term engine to be found and displayed in crossTerm if the plural form engines occurs in a text to be translated.
The stemming is automatically supported for the following languages:

Please note that stemming cannot be deactivated for these languages.
Due to third-party licenses, the stemming functionality must be added manually for the following languages:

To add the additional languages, you first need to download and install the respective language packages.
The stemming functionality is also integrated in the QM criterion of the crossTerm check in crossDesk. Thus, the QM criterion is checked, not only for the basic forms of the terms, but also for the morphological forms of the terms.
