Proceed as follows:
- Download and install.
- Activate the software with the Across account.
- Start immediately with the first projects.
Updates
Update with the same file
The same file can be used both for installing Across and for updating to the latest Across version. To import existing data, refer to the chapter "Backup/restore" in the user manual.
Updating older versions
If you currently use an Across version older than v7.0, please contact our support desk for information on how to update.

Please note: Some of the new functions of the Across Translator Edition v8.0 can only be used if the customer works with the Across Language Server v8.0.
Please also remember that after an update, you can no longer downgrade to a predecessor version. Before updating to a new version, you should therefore check whether the changes are suitable for your current work situation.
