Sending Comments

Especially users who access crossTerm Web with read-only rights and therefore cannot modify or expand the termbase can send comments to the person in charge by means of the integrated e-mail function, e.g. in order to report necessary corrections or to ask questions.

  1. Select an entry/term.
  2. Ensure that the standard browse mode of crossTerm Web is selected.
  3. Next to the ID click Send comment.

  4. Enter your comment in the input window that opens up.
  5. Click Send.
  6. The e-mail will be sent. This is pre-filled with basic information such as the entry ID, source and target terms, etc.

The comment function in crossTerm Web can be set up by modifying the crossTerm Web configuration file (presets.xml). You can do this with the help of the crossTerm Web configuration tool (PresetTool).
