Rich Translation Memory

crossTank, the Across translation memory, can be operated in the form of a Rich Translation Memory (Rich TM), i.e. styles, inline objects, and special characters are stored in crossTank. By default, this mode is activated, as the storage of this additional information is usually desired.

However, some users may not want these details to be stored to explicitly prevent the text from being formatted automatically. This may be the case if the same contents are used in various media (print media, Internet publication).
