QM Batch Mode
Available in QM mode v6.3 only.
The QM batch mode enables the successive and systematic processing of identified QM errors for the basic format-independent QM criteria.
The batch mode can be started by pressing F7 or via the corresponding context menu item in the QM tab of crossView:
First, you can select the QM criteria to be taken into consideration by the batch mode (see 1). Click the corresponding button to start the batch mode (see 2):
Subsequently, the identified QM errors are displayed in dialog windows and can be corrected directly in the dialog window or in crossDesk. In the latter case, the batch mode can be resumed by clicking F7 after correcting the error in crossDesk.
The following options are available in the Spell-check Correction Window:
Option | Description |
Add [word] to dictionary | Adds the word to the dictionary. Thus, no error will be reported for this word during the next check. |
Pause batch mode and edit paragraph | Interrupts the QM batch mode, enabling you to edit the respective paragraph. |
Change [word] in target sentence to: | Enables the replacement of the word in the target text without interrupting the batch mode. |
Use the selected suggestion: | Enables the selection of an alternative word to replace the word reported as an error. |
Skip this error | The error is skipped until the next check is performed. |
Ignore errors in this paragraph | The paragraph is marked as ignored in the QM list and will no longer be checked. |
Apply to all words | Applies the setting made above to all identical errors. |
The following options are available in the other correction dialogs:
Option | Description |
