Creating QM Templates

The quality management criteria to be applied when checking a task (e.g. translation) can be defined in QM templates.

This is how it works

  1. Opening the System Settings
  2. Creating New Templates
  3. Customizing Criteria
  4. Finishing the Setup

Opening the System Settings

Go to Tools > System Settings > General > Quality Management v7.0.

sysset_allg_qmv7

Creating New Templates

At the top right, click Action > Add and enter a name for the template, e.g. Test QM. Confirm with OK.

sysset_allg_qmv7_neu

Customizing Criteria

By default, all criteria are activated, but none of them is defined as a mandatory criterion. Familiarize yourself with the available criteria and their settings. Many criteria have specific settings that you can adapt to your particular application scenarios. If you are familiar with regular expressions, you can also create your own regex-based QM criteria.

For our example, define the XML validity criterion as mandatory criterion.

Finishing the Setup

Close the system settings or go to another area in order to finish the setup.
