A project forms the basis for every translation and the associated work steps. For example, you can define the following in a project:

• Documents to be translated
• Source language and target languages
• Workflows
• Due date
• Attributes
• Project settings

Tasks in Across

A task is a defined activity that is part of a workflow in a project. For a task to be processed, it must be assigned to a user. For example, a task could be a "document translation", "document correction", etc.

As a matter of principle, a workflow task must be finished before the next task can be started.
