Paragraph Numbering

In crossDesk, all paragraphs of a task are numbered.

cDesk_source-view_segmentnummerierung

This number is assigned to the respective paragraph during check-in and does not change even if you e.g. rearrange the order of the paragraphs by means of one of the sorting options. In this way, every paragraph always remains clearly identifiable.

Attention

Please note that after a document update, the paragraphs are renumbered. Thus, they may be assigned a new number.

Navigation via Paragraph Numbers

The paragraph numbers facilitate the navigation within a task in another way. Using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+G, you can open a dialog in which you can enter the respective number in order to go to a particular paragraph.

cDesk_dialog_zu-Absatz-wechseln

If you try to navigate to a paragraph that is currently not displayed due to a filter setting, a note will indicate this and allow you to reset the filter.
