Package Format

Input Package

The format uses a control file in the root of the folder. If you need to translate a file that falls into the name pattern instruction*.xml, please put it into a subfolder.

  • instruction.xml
  • translation, attachment, and loop files in this folder or subfolders

Output Package

The translation results will be stored in a target language subfolder named according to the language name specified in the instruction.xml.

• The Generic File Connector will add a time stamp to the package name:
• Time stamp format: yyyy-MM-ddTHHmmssfffZ
• Package name: Timestamp_OriginalName.zip

• ZIP file

  • loop files restored to same place as in input package
  • target language folder
    • translation files in corresponding subfolders
