Assigning the Task to the Translator

What needs to be done beforehand?

  • Setting up Online Translators with Across Login
  • Creating a Project

About Assignments

For a user to know that he has received a task, the task must be assigned to him.

For the example workflow, you can assign the task to the newly created online user and log in with his softkey.

This is how it works

  1. Selecting Tasks
  2. Selecting Users
  3. Assigning Tasks
  4. Waiting for the User Confirmation

Selecting Tasks

In the module bar on the left-hand side, click Projects > Tasks. Expand the project whose task you want to assign. When you click the document, you will see the tasks to be assigned at the top right. Select the respective task.

Selecting Users

The users available for this task are displayed at the bottom right. If you are not sure about a user's availability, you can view his current workload via Show assignments.
