This is how it works

Opening the Package Overview

In the module bar on the left-hand side, click Projects > crossGrid to enter the crossGrid module. At the bottom right, click Update list in order to retrieve all packages delegated to you. If you are connected to numerous customers and merely want to update part of the list, you can also select a specific customer in the tree view on the left-hand side under Master Server.

Starting the Package Retrieval

Select a package and click Retrieve in order to open the crossGrid Retrieve Wizard. Then click Next.

Selecting an Import Mode

Depending on what you have agreed with your customer, you can download the package directly from the customer's Across Server or import the GWU file that you customer sends you. Select the mode and click Next.

Selecting a Project Manager

Choose a project manager and click Next.

Starting the Import

Check the tasks contained and click Finish in order to import the package. To track the progress, click Background tasks at the bottom right. The dialog and button will disappear as soon as the import is finished. You can now start processing the task.
