Auto-completion in Across
During the translation in crossDesk, the system supplies the translator with proposals that can quickly and easily be transferred to the target text via auto-completion. The proposals come from the lexica created with crossMining. The proposals may consist of individual words or entire sentence segments.
In Across, the auto-completion function can be activated and configured under Tools > User Settings > crossDesk > Target Editor. There, you can also determine that only words from a certain number of characters are to be proposed in the Target Editor during the translation. In this way, you can prevent short words like articles and prepositions from being proposed.
The default folder in which the lexica must be stored on the Across Client side is Program Files/Common Files/Across/crossMining/dic.
