Installing crossMining on a Client PC

crossMining is automatically installed during a main Across Language Server installation.

To install crossMining on a client PC, you can use either the Across Language Server or the Across Client installation package. If an Across Client is already installed on the PC, you can use one of these packages in order to install crossMining. Follow the instructions below that match your scenario.

Installation of crossMining and Online Client

Proceed as follows to install crossMining along with the Online Client:

1. Log in to your computer as a user with administration rights.
2. Unzip the archive file containing the Across installation files and save the extracted files to your hard disk.
3. Execute the file Across.Setup.exe to launch the Installation Wizard.
4. Select a client interface language and an installation path.
5. If you use the server installation package, select the installation scenario Across Client.
6. Accept the license terms by selecting the corresponding checkbox.
7. Click Optional components.
8. Activate the checkbox crossMining.
9. Launch the installation by clicking Install.
10. You can monitor the installation procedure with the help of the progress bars.
11. Click Finish to finish the installation.
12. crossMining has been successfully installed.

Installing crossMining

Proceed as follows to install crossMining:

1. Log in to your computer as a user with administration rights.
2. If necessary, unzip the archive file containing the Across installation files and save the extracted files to your hard disk.
3. Execute the file Across.Setup.exe to launch the Installation Wizard.
4. Click on Accept.
5. Activate the checkbox crossMining.
6. Change the installation path if necessary.
7. Launch the installation by clicking Install.

   You can monitor the installation procedure with the help of the progress bars.

8. Click Finish to finish the installation.
9. crossMining has been successfully installed.
