Doing Relay Translations

A relay translation is carried out in the same way as a normal translation. However, the paragraphs of the source text are locked until they have been translated by the preliminary translator and have been assigned the Translated editing state. As soon as a paragraph has been translated by the preliminary translator, it is released for the next translator and can be worked on. This means that the translation can be completed almost simultaneously with the preliminary translation.

Example

	The three paragraphs have not yet been translated by the preliminary translator. They are locked for editing and are displayed in the original language (in this case English).
	The preliminary translator has translated the first two paragraphs. They have been released for editing and can be translated.
