DisplayText XML | DTX and DTXML | Display text |
Drawing Interchange Format5 | DXF | - |
1 | These formats are supported via Word. |
2 | These formats are supported via crossTransform. |
3 | ILDOC files of the QuickSilver version 3.0 in text-based ASCII interchange format (as of version 8.6) are supported. |
4 | QuarkXPress documents must first be exported in the TAG or XTG format in QuarkXPress. Following the translation in Across, the files are re-imported in QuarkXPress. |
5 | DXF files from AutoCAD 2000 and AutoCAD 2007 are supported. |
Tip
One advantage of the TAG format over the XTG format is that the entire text of a QuarkXPress document is stored in a single TAG file. Also, the TAG format stores additional information, e.g. information on processing anchored text frames.
Special tools such as CopyFlow Gold for QuarkXPress from NAPS facilitate the export and subsequent re-import of QuarkXPress documents in the TAG and XTG formats.
Editing of Mobile App Formats
These files are edited with crossTransform.
Operating system | Supported formats | Note/example |

iOS | Text-based strings files | May have UTF-8- or UTF-16 encoding. |
BlackBerry | ANSI-based text files in rrc format |
