The File Menu in the Across Client

The File menu includes commands for managing tasks, saving and loading sessions as well as exiting Across.

The following entries are available:

Entry	Description
Open Task	Opens the currently selected task.
Retrieve Task	Opens the Retrieve Task Wizard (only in the crossWAN load and crossWAN classic modes).
Deliver Tasks	Opens the Deliver Task Wizard (only in the crossWAN load and crossWAN classic modes).
Close task	Closes a task.
New Project	Opens the Project Wizard to set up a new project.
Check out Project	Starts the Check-Out Wizard to return documents to their original formats.
Alignment	Opens the Alignment Wizard to accept text pairs that have already been translated.
Export Project	Opens the Export Projects Wizard for exporting projects in the form of project files.
Import Project	Opens the Import Projects Wizard for importing exported project files.
Activate All Projects	Allows projects to be activated by means of further menu items.
Deactivate All Projects	Allows projects to be deactivated by means of further menu items.
Save all	Saves all changes.
Finish task	Enables you to quit a task in crossDesk.
Store Finished Translations to crossTank	Stores all created translations in the current task as translation units in crossTank.
Exit	Closes Across. All changes that have been made since the last save are saved in the process.
