Configuring Across

The way how the Across modules and windows is displayed can be customized.

The following icons are available for customizing the modules:

Customization options

Function
This is how it works
Moving modules
Select the Floating command from the context menu of the header of a module. The module will then be displayed in the front, floating.
Docking windows
Select the Docking command from the context menu of the header of a module. The respective module will be re-docked to its previous docking position.
Auto-hiding windows
Select the Auto-Hide command from the context menu of the header of a module. The module will be hidden, and a tab will be displayed instead of the module. Click the tab in order to have the module displayed. Once you click another module, the module will be minimized again.
You can also hide a module automatically with the help of the icn_pin_black icon.
Hiding windows
Click the icn_close_black icon to hide the module.
Tip

To display a hidden module again, move the cursor over any of the toolbars and right-click them.

Customizing the Position of Windows
Move a window to the desired position with the mouse button pressed down on the window header.
Grouping Across Windows
To group two windows, proceed in the same way as when positioning windows. Simply drag the window that you would like to group with a second window to the header of this window. A gray frame indicating the future position of the first window will appear. Release the left button; the two windows will be grouped.
