Translating with crossWeb
The translation of texts with crossWeb works basically in the same way as in Across. The only major difference is that instead of the "normal" crossDesk, you use a browser-based crossDesk - the crossDesk Web.
After confirming and opening a translation task assigned to you, crossDesk Web opens up.
Number | Area | Description |
1 | crossView | Views and functions of the current document |
2 | Source View/Context View | Display of the source and target texts |
3 | crossTerm | Matching entries from the crossTerm terminology system |
4 | Target Editor | Enter translations |
5 | Search Center | Fuzzy search for searching for complete sentences in the crossTank translation memory Concordance search for finding individual words in crossTank |
6 | Comments and Changes | Display and filter of paragraph changes and paragraph comments (comments can be edited and deleted if you have the right Add/edit/delete comments) |
Attention
crossDesk Web does not yet map the entire function range of crossDesk in the Across Client.
