System Settings: General > Reporting
In the Reporting section you can customize the reports created in Across to suit your own requirements. You can create templates and define them in various ways. When creating a report you can select these templates, making it possible to create various types of report.
Click New to create a new template. You can enter additional information on the respective template into the Description field. Click Delete to remove the selected template from the list.
Using Import and Export, you can import and export reporting templates in the proprietary RST (reporting settings templates) format.
The reporting templates do not only customize the normal Across reports, but also the reports in the task confirmation dialog.
Standard Lines and Match Ranges
You can enter user-defined settings for each template. In order to do this, go to the drop-down list and select the template you wish to customize. You can then define the standard line length that will be used to quantify the translation.
When doing this, you can define the number of characters in one line and decide whether the standard line should be calculated including spaces or not. These default settings will be used for calculating the number of lines in the various Across reports (Master Data Report, Quality Management Report, Dynamic Data Report).
You can also customize the match ranges that will be displayed in the reports (e.g. 90-99%). In order to add a new range, enter a value as upper limit for the new range and then click Add. The new range will then be added to the existing ranges. Required adjustments are automatically carried out by Across: For instance, if you create a new range with an upper limit of 54%, the existing range 50-59% is automatically raised to 55-59% and the new range will have the lower limit of 50%.
Please note that, as a matter of principle, only matches whose match rate is above the value defined for pre-translations will be presented in the reports. The value is set via Tools > System Settings > General > Project Settings Templates > crossTank > Pre-translation Settings.
