Expanding the QM Check (QM v7.0)
When you receive tasks from a Master Server as a Trusted Server or offline user, the QM criteria are determined by the Master Server. Of course, you can also add your own QM criteria.
Tip
The QM criteria are added on the basis of a local QM template. You cannot add individual QM criteria.
You cannot deselect the QM criteria determined by the Master Server. If necessary, contact your customer in order to customize the criteria to be used.
Any QM criteria that are selected additionally will be passed on in the supply chain, e.g. to subordinate Trusted Servers or offline users. However, they will not be returned to the Master Server.
Adding Criteria for a Master Server
- Proceed as follows:
- Go to System Settings > General > crossGrid.
- Below, select a Master Server and click Properties.
- Under Received Packages in the drop-down list, select the QM template whose criteria are to be applied to all projects and tasks you receive from this Master Server.
- Click OK.
- Close the system settings in order to apply the additional criteria.
- Henceforth, both the criteria of the Master Server and your own criteria will be taken into consideration in the QM check.
Adding Criteria for Individual Projects
- Proceed as follows:
- Open the module Projects > Tasks.
- Open the project properties of the respective project, e.g. via the context menu.
- On the Project tab, click Edit QM template.
- In the QM Template window, you can select a local QM template in order to add its criteria to the check. By default, no local template is selected. In this view, you can see all criteria determined by the Master Server.
- Close the QM Template and Project Properties windows with OK in order to apply the additional criteria.
- Henceforth, both the criteria of the Master Server and your own criteria will be taken into consideration in the QM check.
