Document and Project Updates

In case an updated version is received for a document that has already been checked in to Across, a document update can be performed. During this process, Across automatically recognizes the changes in the updated document version and displays them separately in crossDesk. The responsible translator can thus systematically work through the updated paragraphs of the new source document.


Contact your service provider/translator to find out how much of the respective text has already been translated. If the text has already been translated, discuss how you will handle their payment.

You can either update the entire project or individual documents of the project.

If a folder containing the source documents to be translated was selected during the project setup, documents that were added to the folder later on are not detected automatically during an update and must therefore be updated separately.


Please note that you need to have the appropriate rights.

By default, the project manager is designated for this type of task.


XLIFF documents cannot be updated at the moment.
