Across Online Client Installation

Proceed as follows to install an Across Online Client:

  1. Log in to your computer as a user with administration rights.
  2. Unzip the archive file containing the Across installation files and save the extracted files to your hard disk.
  3. Execute the file Across.Setup.exe to launch the Installation Wizard that will lead you through the installation of Across.
  4. Select the language in which the Across interface should be displayed.
  5. To change the location, click the ... button and select a different location.
  6. If you use the installation file of the Across Language Server and the client scenario is not already preselected, select the installation scenario Across Client.
  7. Enable the checkbox to confirm that you have read the license conditions and accept them.
  8. Launch the installation by clicking Install.

    You can monitor the installation procedure with the help of the progress bars.

    The final dialog confirms the successful installation.

  9. Finally, click Finish.
  10. Thereafter you can start Across (e.g. in Windows 8 using the tile on the start screen). In the login dialog, log in as a user.
  11. If a softkey has already been created for the client workstation and has been saved to an accessible location, you can select it via Import.
  12. The user name is already entered. Enter your password, if necessary, and click Login.
