Visitors to this year's tekom annual conference can look forward to a product premiere at the booth of Across Systems GmbH (2/B069): The manufacturer will present v7 of its translation management software Across Language Server. The new version will be available from January 2019. Among other things, it will facilitate the integration of machine translation systems and come with a new interactive module that will help users to assess and optimize the quality of their translations even faster. This year's tekom annual conference will take place at the International Congress Center Stuttgart (ICS) from November 13 to 15.
The development of v7 of the Across Language Server focused especially on improved user friendliness, faster translation processes, and new modes of operation.
Translation managers are provided with even more detailed information on their translation projects, multiple tasks of a project can be opened concurrently, and documents can be partitioned in a more transparent manner and be distributed to several persons.
"With v7 of our Across Language Server, we again set new standards in the field of translation management", says Gerd Janiszewski, CEO of Across Systems GmbH. "The new version delivers numerous new functions that further optimize the work of translation managers and translators. Our customers' ideas have also been incorporated in some of the new features."
In the tool presentation entitled "Across v7 Preview: What Is New in the Across Language Server?" at the tekom annual conference, visitors will be able to get an initial glance of the new features. Christian Weih, member of the Management Board of Across Systems GmbH, will deliver this tool presentation on Tuesday, November 13, at 11:15 a.m. and on Wednesday, November 14, at 9:45 a.m. in room C10.3. In another tool presentation (on Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. and on Thursday at 11:15 a.m., also in room C10.3), he will focus especially on the terminology work with the Across Language Server.
Additionally, Across Systems GmbH will enrich the tekom annual conference with two lectures. On Wednesday at 8:45 a.m., technical writer Sandra Zeisberg will present a lecture about storytelling in technical documentation in room C5.2. On the same day at 4:15 p.m., Christian Weih will again be on stage in room C7.2 for a lecture entitled "It's Terminology, Stupid!".More News
