Across uses the CodeMeter module of software provider Wibu-Systems to manage licenses in its ALS and ATE products. This module is automatically included with the installation of Across products. On September 16, 2020, Wibu-Systems released a new version of CodeMeter, 7.10a. Security vulnerabilities in CodeMeter were eliminated with this update. Older versions of CodeMeter still have these vulnerabilities.

For existing installations of the Across Language Server (ALS) or the Across Translator Edition (ATE), Across recommends that its customers update to the new version of CodeMeter, 7.10a. For all new installations starting with the next official release, Across will automatically include the current version of CodeMeter, 7.10a.
