Press Report
Across Systems GmbH has released version 7 of its translation management software Across Language Server. Under the motto "Speed up your translation processes", the main benefits of the new major release include optimized translation processes and seamless connection of third-party machine translation systems.
Sergey Dubrovskiy, Head of Development of Across Systems GmbH, says: "With version 7 of the Across Language Server, we offer our users enhanced user-friendliness. At the same time, the new version will enable them to boost their output, saving time and money." A lot of feedback from the three advisory boards and from the Across user group have gone into the development of the new release.
Smart Integration of Machine Translation
Companies can now integrate common machine translation systems such as KantanMT, DeepL, or SYSTRAN in their processes. Extensive configuration options enable the mapping of diverse application scenarios.
Reduced Overhead, Improved Consistency
The Across Language Server v7 allows users to concurrently open and edit multiple tasks within a project. This reduces the overhead associated with the translation of smaller documents. By opening and editing multiple documents concurrently, it is also easier to ensure the consistency of translations.
Quality Management with Expanded Options
Especially the quality assurance options have been expanded in the Across Language Server v7. The first view of a new interactive module shows the user exactly which passages in the translation contain errors. This way, the translation quality can be evaluated and optimized even faster.
More Transparency for Project Managers
The project properties now feature more detailed information. All changes made in the course of the projects as well as comments are documented in a transparent, traceable manner. Thanks to the program's enhanced usability, the user can enter comments faster and more easily.
Easier Partitioning of Large Projects
Version 7 of the Across Language Server facilitates the partitioning of large documents and their distribution to several translators. The partitioning can be performed separately for each target language. By assigning the project to several translators, the translation process can be accelerated. The customer can decide whether the Trusted Server is also permitted to partition tasks.
Smaller Data Packages from the Trusted Server
When returning finished translation tasks, the translation units are stored directly to the Master Server's translation memory. For futher information on the new version of the Across Language Server, see https://www.across.net/en/know-how/new-functions/.
