INX Documents with/without Kerning & Tracking

InDesign files may contain information on the kerning and tracking. However, some of these details are not relevant for the translation. Therefore, when editing INX files both with Tagged XML and Visual XML, you can decide whether to keep the kerning and tracking information during check-in or to ignore it, i.e. to remove it from the document. By default, the kerning and tracking information is retained.

When selecting the INX document to be processed, you can select a special processing mode in which the kerning and tracking information is ignored:

Depending on the selected processing mode, the information on kerning and tracking may or may not be displayed in crossDesk:

Without kerning/tracking
