Each document is assigned a style template, which in turn may contain several styles. Generally, the style template of the source document corresponds to the style template of the target document.
In Across, you can define different styles for various languages. This can be advantageous when translating European texts into Asian languages, for example. In this case, Across assigns the target document a format that corresponds to the format in the source document.
Styles templates in Across are comparable to document templates in Microsoft Word. Styles lay down the basic structures in a document. They contain settings for page layout, fonts, paragraph templates, etc.
