Exclusion Files
During a crossTerm import, entries that cannot be imported for various reasons can be written to an exclusion file.
The file format and structure of an exclusion file always correspond to the file format and structure of the imported terminology file. For example, if you import a CSV file, a CSV file will be created as exclusion file. The file structure will also be identical.
If an entry cannot be imported during the import, the respective entry will be written to the exclusion file. However, any error messages will be recorded in the log file. In this way, you can later import the exclusion file in the same way as the originally imported terminology file.
For an exclusion file to be generated during the import, specify a directory and file name in the crossTerm Import Wizard.
