Exchanging Data

The communication and exchange of data between servers and between the server and the Offline Client of the Translator Edition take place in a protected supply chain.

To connect two Across Servers to each other, they need to exchange so-called crossGrid certificates. In this context, one server plays the role of the customer (=Master Server) and the other one that of the service provider (=Trusted Server).

To connect an Offline Client, the offline user merely needs a suitable softkey for the connection to the Across Server.
