Entry search
The entry search enables the search for entries on the basis of the respective entry IDs.
Apart from the search for entries on the basis of individual entry IDs (e.g. "101"), you can use the asterisk (*), which stands for no character or any number of characters (e.g. "10*"). Moreover, you can search for multiple entry IDs (e.g. "1,2,3") and for ranges of entry IDs (e.g. "1-3").
Example search queries for the entry search:
Search query | Search result |
123 | Searches for the entry with entry ID 123. |
10* | Searches for all entries whose IDs begin with 10, i.e. such IDs as 10, 100, 101 etc. |
1,2,3 | Searches for the entries with IDs 1, 2 and 3. |
1-3 | Searches for the entries with IDs from 1 to 3. |
1.3-5 | Searches for entries with the IDs 1 and 3 to 5. |
The use of filters enables the systematic search for entries that contain or do not contain images, definitions, comments, etc. or that have been created by a particular user.
