Controlling public filters

The use of each public filter/filter set is controlled by means of a right in the user-group rights. In this way, the filter or filter set is available to the users of the assigned groups for search queries.

  1. Proceed as follows:
  2. Go to the Groups module via Administration > Groups and select the group you want to assign/revoke a filter or filter set to/from.
  3. Click Properties, go to the Rights tab and select crossTerm > Public filter/filter sets.
  4. Select/deselect the corresponding checkbox to assign or revoke the filter or filter set to/from the respective user group.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
  6. The change has an effect as soon as the corresponding users have logged in and logged out again.
