Adding Translations to crossTank

By default, translations are automatically saved to crossTank.

The user can also use the icn_cDesk_te_in-cTank-kopieren icon in the Target Editor toolbar to transmit paragraphs or individual segments that have been selected in both the Source View and Target Editor to crossTank.

You can configure the storing of translations in crossTank under Tools > System Settings > General > Project Settings Templates > crossTank > Storing.

Tip

If the source text contains an error, you cannot correct it directly in Across. However, you can modify the translation unit in order to ensure that everything is stored correctly in the translation memory: First, save the translation unit containing the mistake in the source-language segment to crossTank as usual, e.g. by setting the respective paragraph to the final paragraph state. Then click the icn_cDesk_search-center_uebersetzungseinheit-bearbeiten icon in the toolbar of the fuzzy search in order to edit the translation unit and correct the error.
