A filter criterion has been added to the crossTank Maintenance Wizard to help you identify entries that have never been modified or reused after their initial creation.
Requests to MT engines and their response are now stored in separate log files. This makes it easier to investigate MT results that are not of the desired quality. You can use the log files in direct exchange with the MT engine manufacturer without having to involve Across support.
Translation and Translation Environment
The machine translation process now works even more reliably. If a request to an MT engine fails, it is now repeated several times so that no empty paragraphs are created during machine translation.
Miscellaneous
The licenses for the Edit Distance Report and the Comments Overview Report have been separated so that these products can now be purchased separately.
ISSUES FIXED
System Management and Settings
Language names were displayed incorrectly in the configuration dialog of the PROMT engine.
Translation and Translation Environment
In certain cases, translations supplied by the TextShuttle MT system were misinterpreted so that spaces were missing.
In translation units that contained a line feed in the source language, the line feed was incorrectly saved as a tab after editing.
It was not possible to open tasks in crossWeb that had specific target languages such as Chinese Simplified (Uncorrected).
The & character caused problems in MT requests to LanguageWire in certain cases.
