With Across’ standard interfaces as well as application programming interfaces (APIs) you can further optimize your processes and supplement the Language Server with functionalities such as machine translation.
Smoothly integrated third-party systems help you to implement continuous processes, which boost your efficiency even more. Across offers standard connectors to various CMS, DMS, ERP, and PIM systems that allow direct data exchange with very little configuration overhead. Content exchange happens either via defined paths on a file server or via ftp and is as easy as follows:
Creation of a translation project in Across via the standard connector
Tasks are assigned and completed in Across
Once a project reaches the status “Finished,” the target document is tranferred to the content system automatically
For customer-specific system integration, Across offers powerful APIs, which are documented in a Software Development Kit (SDK). Corresponding technologies, such as authoring assistance, machine translation, Business Process Management or online dictionaries, can be linked to the Across Language Server
Easy exchange of data to be translated or of translated target texts
Provision of context information for translators from the content system as well as parameters from Across in the editing environment
Automatic generation of tasks if certain events happen
crossAPI architecture
