Karlsbad, October 17, 2011. Across Systems has designated Marco Rauer as the new Head of the central Marketing department. Apart from brand strategy, e-mail marketing, events, and public relations, his duties especially include the further development of digital communication routes and processes.
Marco Rauer looks back on many years of intersectoral marketing and PR experience. Before he joined Across, the graduate business economist (major in marketing) was in charge of the international online marketing of L'TUR Tourismus AG, one of Europe's leading tour operators. His previous professional stages include a position as Key Account Manager at 1&1 Internet AG and a position as Director Marketing/PR at a software manufacturer for content management systems. "I am very pleased to have the privilege of managing the marketing activities in such an innovative company", says Marco Rauer. "Together, we will develop new cross-medial approaches to further increase international awareness to the company, thereby further boosting sales opportunities."
