With the introduction of across v3.5, the price and the product structure have both been completely changed. Instead of the previous standard configurations (Team, Network, Enterprise Edition), across will be supplied in future as the "across Language Server" basis product that can then be extended at will with various options according to customer requirements.

The across Language Server comprises a complete solution for Corporate Translation Management (CTM) and is equivalent to the previous across Network Edition including crossGrid and the SQL connector.

With this change across is responding to the wishes of many customers and interested parties who will now be able to expand their across installations modularly, e.g. with interfaces to third-party systems or with purely browser-based access to terminology via crossTerm Web.
