crossConnect for Software LocalizationAcross offers comfortable features for localizing software interfaces in the RC, EXE, or DLL formats. Additionally, special software localization tools are often used, e.g. for localizing user interfaces created under .NET or J2EE. Across can be used as a central repository to ensure the consistent use of language resources for software interfaces as well as for manuals, web contents, and marketing documents.
Interfaces of the manufacturers of software localization tools enable the shared use of the translation memory and the terminology system of Across. The standard interface crossConnect for software localization is required as counterpart on the Across side. crossConnect for software localization is an option for the Across Language Server and must be licensed separately.
