crossConnect for Content Systems

Not only web pages, but also manuals and product catalogs often get their contents from special content management, catalog, or editorial systems.

In this context, seamless processes necessitate the direct transfer and return of contents to be translated between the content system and the translation environment.

Thus, a translation can be triggered directly from within the upstream system, and the contents to be translated can be submitted to the Across Language Server.

On the Across Language Server, the project is automatically set up, using received meta data such as the requested deadline.

After the project is finished, the translation is automatically sent back from Across to the content system in order to provide direct access to the translated texts in the content system.

In this way, the advantages of both worlds – content creation on the one hand and translation environment on the other – can be combined to a seamless process, thereby eliminating interface losses.

crossConnect for content systems is an option for the Across Language Server and must be licensed separately.

Moreover, the corresponding counterpart of this interface is required to be connected on the part of the system.
