Across Systems Launches Educational Series to Increase Productivity in Localization

Presentations, Webinars demonstrate ways to increase efficiency for translation professionals, support a more connected world

KARLSBAD, Germany and GLENDALE, Calif. – June 18, 2008 - Across Systems, supplier of the world's leading independent linguistic supply chain technology, has announced its upcoming event and webinar series for summer, 2008. • Webinar: Quality at the Source: How it affects global customer satisfaction, July 9, at 4 pm EDT – This Webinar focuses on the innovative authoring assistant component, crossAuthor, which connects the content creation process in applications like FrameMaker, InDesign, XMetal, Arbortext, and others in a unique way to translation memory and terminology. By reusing existing sentences and terms in databases the text is created faster with greater consistency for translation. Presented by Richard Sikes, Language Technologies Evangelist.

• Across Language Server as Central Platform for Language Resources and Translation Processes, Friday July 18, 4:45 pm to 6:00 pm MDT – This live tool presentation will take place during the TCD Conference at The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center in Englewood, Colorado. The 9th annual ATA-TCD conference offers two days of informative educational sessions tailored to the needs and concerns of translation company owners and managers. This tool presentation will focus on the advantages of the Across Language Server and the special benefits for the translation industry.
