JABA Translations introduces Across Language Server as central technology platform

PORTO / KARLSBAD, April 1, 2008 - JABA Translations, the leading Portuguese translation service provider, has entered a strategic partnership with Across Systems. JABA uses the Across Language Server as base technology for its translation services. The translation service provider also offers its customers the implementation of own Language Servers as starting and end points for a seamless linguistic supply chain.

The Across Language Server is an integrated solution that comprises a translation memory, a terminology system, and a universal translation editor as well as powerful tools for controlling and managing translation projects and for seamless collaboration of authors, translators, and correctors.

JABA is the leading Portuguese translation service provider, with renowned direct customers such as Thyssen Krupp, MAN, Renault, and Nissan. Moreover, JABA is one of the preferred subcontractors of most of the top 10 language service providers around the globe. JABA uses the Across Language Server for optimizing its translation workflows and realizing seamless processes with its customers. Companies can directly exchange their data for translations with JABA's Language Server, which greatly facilitates and simplifies the project handling of the translation tasks. Furthermore, JABA customers can also access the stored corporate terminology and translation memories, e.g. to use them for composing the source texts.
