Across Systems Adds Localization Service Providers in American Market

Less than a year after entering US market Across grows with new offices and customers

GLENDALE, Calif. and KARLSBAD, Germany – Oct. 13, 2008 – Across Systems, a leading provider of corporate translation management systems and the world's leading independent linguistic supply chain technology, today announced at Localization World Madison 2008, it has added three new American localization service providers (LSPs) to its client roster. In addition, the company has indicated that it will be expanding into larger offices in its Glendale, California location to meet its growth expectations of the coming year.

Just a few months after opening its first office in the U.S., Across is seeing a significant increase in both its enterprise clients and its service provider clients. The new LSPs that have chosen Across for their translation management systems were referrals from corporate accounts, according to Daniel Nackovski, president of Across Systems, Inc., the American division.

The core Across product is the Across Language Server, which serves as a central platform for all language resources and translation processes within a company. It provides a singular work environment where all project management functionality, knowledge resources, and personnel, both internal and outsourced, are integrated seamlessly in a continuous, linguistic supply chain. The new LSP customers include Interpreters and Translators, Inc., which offers a full-suite of language services including: in-person, phone, video interpretation and document translation for all languages; DTB (Detroit Translation Bureau), a Detroit based LSP that serves the automotive industry; and ViaLanguage, an international service provider that is heavily entrenched in the medical sector and others.
