KJ International Resources, Ltd., Deploys Language Server from Across Systems to Support Translation for Regulated Industry Clients and Others

MINNEAPOLIS and GLENDALE, Calif. - December 11, 2008 KJ International Resources, Ltd. (KJI,) a leading translation service provider specializing in regulated industries, has selected the Across Language Server for its translation-and-terminology-management system. After thoroughly investigating the language-software-platform products in the marketplace, KJI concluded that Across Systems will optimize its processes for creating multilingual product information.

KJI will deploy the Across Language Server, which provides a centralized platform for corporate language resources and translation processes, to develop a continuous linguistic supply chain
with its customers. This will streamline processes and workflows when KJI works in cooperation with external parties. Clients will exchange data directly with the Language Server via open interfaces and special collaboration tools, resulting in seamless integration into the workflows. KJI clients can also access the stored corporate terminology and translation memories (for use in composing source texts). In short: KJI believes its use of Language Server will greatly simplify the management of translation tasks.

KJI chose the Across Language Server for its independent, open-technology platform, which will facilitate a seamless integration into KJI’s existing proprietary project-management system, yet allow the flexibility of interfacing with external language management tools and content-management systems.
