crossTerm Web server

Corporate and specialized terminology agreed upon within a company is often of interest to staff members who do not necessarily need a complete translation environment to complete their daily tasks. This applies, for instance, to the personal assistant's office dealing with current correspondence or to specialists in particular departments who need to make decisions regarding the wording for a certain object or concept.

With the help of the crossTerm Web server, these users can simply query the across terminology system via their web browsers and, depending on the access rights, have either read-only or overwrite access.

This feature is the equivalent of directly accessing crossTerm via LAN/WAN clients and also includes, e.g. the concordance search, a feature which enables the user to search the translation memory for a word in all contexts it has been employed so far.

crossTerm Web server can be purchased as an optional module to the across Language Server package.
