Collaboration tool crossGrid

A grid is the name given to a method in which a group of computers are linked, not only to bundle their computing power but also to intelligently spread the workload and thereby to obtain maximum performance.

crossGrid exploits this principle - the interaction of several across servers makes it possible to flexibly distribute various tasks within one translating process across the boundaries of the company, e.g. between a service provider and a client or depending on the degree of difficulty, size or timeline of a project and the available capacities.

crossGrid makes it possible to delegate projects between two across installations, thereby creating completely new ways of collaborating. This can, for instance, mean delegating work to a translation service provider who then in turn distributes the various target languages to different internal and external staff members.

All those involved benefit from a maximum of flexibility, transparency and efficiency, from working with one common database and supported by integrated processes without the hindrance of interfaces or friction.

crossGrid is available for all networked versions of across.
