Across Patches and Service Packs
Patches and Service Packs are designed to subsequently install the latest changes to the program within a defined updated version of Across. The latest patch is designed for those who already run version 4.00.0 (you can find the version number in the Across main menu under /Help/About Across).
Basic Points before Starting
- Please read this page completely before updating.
- Further information can be found in our current documentation and our FAQs. If you have any queries, please contact our support team before updating.
- You require administration rights for each computer.
- We recommend backing up all Across data (or that of the complete computer) before starting each update.
- The latest patch includes all patches available for this defined updated version of Across and the installation of any possibly existing older patches is not necessary.
- The downloads include the patches for both client and server installations of all product options (with the defined version number) and can be used universally.
- If you are running an Across server, please make sure that all clients are updated.
- If you are running both an Across server and an Across client on the same computer, you only need to install the patch once.
- Please note: if you are a user of the Across Personal Edition you should arrange with your customer about updating before you start.
